Day NineteenOk, so it's painting time.
First we sponged the chalk off the ceiling. Then we repainted (in white) the original ceiling that is visible from the ground.

During this process I realised that it would be possible to rescue some of the fibres that got crushed between the panels and the supporting blocks. We lost about 12 fibres this way - I was able to restore 4-5 of them.

But I found that in order to see properly, I had to ram my head directly onto the freshly painted ceiling so I could have visual depth to plug the fibres into the hole - the gap is only a few inches.
This meant that
I got a great deal of white paint in my hair. As you will soon see.

Then we began painting the ceiling....
Quite tricky, as we had to roller in between the fibres, and use brush around the fibres themselves, for fear of crushing them.
It doesn't matter that paint gets on the fibres. When we are done we will cut them, and the freshly cut surface will not have any paint on it, so light can come out.

We took one with the flash so you can actually see what's going on.

Yea, I look pretty stupid in this one. :P

Sheena got bored and started to try to make heart patterns by moving the camera around on a long exposure.

Great job there Sheena.

Shortly thereafter she realised my hair was far more fun.

Yeap, got fairly clarted in the stuff.

seed off Sheena =P

Ok it's done.

Looks nice yea ? :>
We'll find out for sure the following day...
