Oh, that’s a BIG question.
I listen to Rock, Pop, Jazz, Electro, Reggae, Fusion, World (especially Rai, Oriental, Asian), meditative (the order does not say anything about my preferences) … then I have a special fondness for cover versions, there are some songs of which I have over 200 cover versions). Really hard for me to name favourites, my iTune library is something like 400 GB. Easier to tell what I don’t like (e.g. Death Metal, all kinds of
shouting).
One of my latest discoveries is
Jivan Gasparyan, an Armenian flautist playing the
Duduk, makes my eyes plus “third eye” focus somewhere above. That’s clearly something more meditative.
Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Traffic, Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, Genesis, to name just a few of the bands who left a strong imprint on me in my youth. Nirvana is certainly among my favourites

people keep telling me that my music taste is somewhat unusual for my age (WTF? Dang, am I THAT old already?).
Often, when people ask me what kind of music I like, I tell ’em that I just like “good music”

Greetings, Tom
