cant load game on win 7

I'm installing release version (it's the same except few registry entries as 7600), x64, right?

Then first thing I do is installing Eufloria and look, what will go wrong (it didn't on cooked 7600 builds, but).

x86 32 bit >.< but i find it strange as mine is a fresh install and even after adding all the stuff it still just wont run and this goes for 2 pcs now that have it

Hi. Here I am on windows 7. I haven't installed anything - I type this in IE, for example.

I launched release game copy (not from steam, sorry), but from developers.
I've installed it most default way.

It launched succesfully, but looks fscking ugly.
Investigating...

hm prob why mine wont start but ya i tried it at work today on a few pcs that all got a clean install from 7600 5 out of 12 failed to be able to start it >.< all just clean install with the steam download tried demo to same thing all 32 bit and i tried 5 64 bit ones no problems on then(just dont have enough 64 bit pcs to try it on)

the xp pcs on the other hand run it fine yet i cant go play on them as there used for the helpdesk >.>

anyway i dont know what to try next as a clean install of xp sp1 then upgraded to sp3 works(but my net wont work on it so can only try the demo dont ask why its to long to explain ) for the game but it crashes so thats a start but it seems to me its just something to do with some dll missing somewhere that causes it not to load as thats what happens with most of those errors from programs >.<

btw just got it running on my laptop after giving it full permission installing every visual studio that i could get my hands on and installing vlc after i installed vlc it worked for some strange reason might try that later on on my gaming pc

as what i did was when i first installed it i watched a movie then tried to play the game as i got bored dint work decided to go watch a movie tried to use the directx wallpaper it was grayed out i switched some settings around so that it was able to use i turned it on windows popped up asking me to install something i said yes and after that the movie played and i tried the game again some time later on(after redling it) and it worked >.< so ya ty vlc

Ok, I've updated video drivers and Eufloria runs pretty ok.

Well, I'm sorry I could not uncover this trouble for you - I've tested it on 7 7100 and 7600 with 9800GT and now on release with 8600GT - and never had anything like that.

hehe well im lucky that vlc fixed it as i was basically lost its just strange that installing vlc would fix it o well

BTW, am I free to remove W7 now?

well its now just unstable(2 times return to the main menu and it crashes but doesnt matter really) plus mind telling me how to make a tree while where on it anyway? (cant figure it out >.<) o well

Ok, I just wiped out my openbsd hdd for it and am as unimpressed, as earlier.
