It has to be Civilization (probably the first one)

As to what system.  Not a clue.

Yeah Civilization, the original.

This was actually from the Atari St version. It had slightly different graphics than the DOS and Amiga versions for some reason.

So your turn for a pic!

Since there are no answers, the game is:

Zork Grand Inquisitor

Fun series of games.  I believe the original trilogy Zork I, II, III can be played online for free (text based).

Now it is a freeplay, who wants to post another?

Wow, not a clue.

With a Google search I came up with K240 or Utopia.
I was hoping someone would get it with the hints I gave! It was indeed K240.

I think that it would be cool if screenshots were cropped so that only part of it was shown. A full screenshot is usually too obvious!

I heard about it, because it is a german game (!) and I know the developer. Unfortunately, I was to slow.

Cropped, you say? I guess this one's a little mean... the engine is obvious, of course, so I've only cropped out enough to lose the bars but I think I've found a recognisable area of the particular game.

Is that Icewind Dale?

It is obviously a Baldur's Gate game, but it has been a while since I have played any of these games.

Well done, yes it is. It's the tavern in the Heart of Winter hub town of Lonelywood.
I thought Easthaven (from the core game) would be a little too easy but that the dungeons might be a little too obscure  ;)
