Check out this screenshot of the castle we built in Minecraft.. :>
There is about 100 times more stuff underground, or behind the camera... it actually takes over an hour to tour the entire world now.

You should play it again.  :>  It's still awesome, after all these years... I introduce friends to it sometimes and it's still fresh despite the dated graphics.  Most of them go on to complete the game.

EDIT: Yeah, just booted it up. Definitely M&B.  ;)
I ran into the same problem with Warband that I did with Morrowind; I just sank more and more (and more..) time into cobbling together and customising dozens of mods until I got sick of the sight of it  :(
