Granted. It goes off, and gets a job - but now it no longer needs to serve you, given it has its own money.

I wish they released Borderlands when they said they would, instead of delaying it for 3 more days ;(

Granted, but since your wish is out of date and borderlands is already out, you end up having to wait several more days after it was released.

I wish valve were to announce Half-Life 3 next E3.

Granted, but because it can never run out of gas, your car is too heavy to even move.

I wish Valve would fix the L4D2 bugs and constanly reseting achievements.

Granted, but the patch they released was infected with a virus that made your Wallpaper change to the Dragon Ball Evolution trailer.
I wish this game had a Mac version.

Granted, but the cost is $500 because we all know that everything for Mac's are overpriced.

I wish that I wasn't always so busy on the weekends and had time to relax.

Granted.  You have no life.  You spend all your time on the computer during the weekends and your parents won't stop bugging you about it.

I wish my teachers had the sense to not assign pointless projects that don't promote any useful learning.
