Greetings
« on: September 09, 2011, 10:45:48 PM »
Hello, just saying Hi!  I'm new to the forums and love Eufloria. I came here after playing some of the custom levels that are included, and am hoping to find any community maps.

Is there any other resources I should be looking for?

Thanks for reading my newbie post.

Welcome to the forum :)

To install custom maps, you go to the Resources/Maps folder where you installed Eufloria, then add the .lua file into there after downloading it.

Hope you have a great time playing all the wonderful levels :)

That depends on whether you want to create maps yourself or just play them.

If you want to play custom maps, then this is a good list of them.

If you want to create levels, then you'll want to read these, most likely in this order:

http://www.dyson-game.com/smf/index.php?topic=212.0

Bear in mind, though, that there will be a patch coming soon that will limit the modding potential, at least for a while. A bit of practice now wouldn't hurt though. There are also many map creators that are around, some more full-featured than others.

Regardless of what you do during your stay here, I hope you have a great time.

I’d add a “Custom Maps” folder here and put them there.
