My favourites are everything except for hard rock

All kinds of “world” music … oriental, asian, north african, Balkan, etc.

And then, certainly Rock, R&B, Soul, Blues, Reggae, Ska, Country, Alternative, even some Pop, “Beat” (e.g. what they called Merseybeat), New Age & meditative, Folk, etc., etc.

Nah.

For example, I rather dislike Metal (death metal even more), Industrial, Techno, House, Dance, German »Volksmusik« … and I very rarely listen to Classical music.
